ANSWER THIS #18 QUESTION

#18 question
What did you practice with continuation?

Know! The intention you are steering yourself towards with.

“To steer yourself to your purpose in life you need to practice your intent repeatedly. ”

-Farheen Dhanjal

PERSISTENCY IS THE KEY

Anything you become consistently becomes your unconscious behavior, your unconscious behavior becomes your subconscious system, and your subconscious system becomes your vibration pattern. And, ultimately your vibration pattern becomes your energy. It’s that simple!

Whatever you would do consistently would be your life. You would feel uncomfortable when you would begin to be consistent because it is the growth process. To outgrow yourself you need to be willing enough to go through the discomfort of the process.

Persistence is probably one of the most admirable characters a person can possess.  It’s the ability to be determined to do or achieve something regardless of any setbacks. A distinguishing attributes of those who succeed in life against those who don’t is persistence. Many has the capacity to set goals and plans toward success, yet only few succeeds, because only few stick to work on their goals and plans until it is accomplished. https://www.lifehack.org/articles/productivity/6-effective-ways-to-become-persistent.html

ANSWER THIS #17 QUESTION

#17 question
Whether you try to improve the past, practice the present, or plan the future?

Know! Which thought you are most occupied by past, present, or future.

“Don’t let the past haunt you. Don’t let the present exhaust you. Don’t let the future distress you.”

– Farheen Dhanjal

YOU ARE WHAT OCCUPIES YOUR MIND

What we are preoccupied with, gets to be the main outcomes of our lives. When we are preoccupied with nurturing and growing up our fate but feeding on the word of doubt. By being preoccupied we often ignore the present, live by our past and don’t let something new happen to us.

By being in past or dreaming for a pleasant future you are surely being discouraged to work things out today. You have put faith aside and continue to walk after something that has an awful memory. Occupy yourself with faith, appreciate others, building trust with oneself. Instead of meditating on the thought that haunts you to move forwards.

Worrying can get the better of almost anybody. Work stresses, personal concerns, and sometimes even irrational thoughts can seep into your mind and interfere with your ability to concentrate on ordinary tasks. Unfortunately, stopping those worries isn’t easy–there’s no “off switch” that can shut your worried thoughts down. However, there are a handful of habits that, once integrated into your life, can force your worries to leave and free up your mind to focus on more positive, productive things. https://www.inc.com/jayson-demers/7-habits-that-force-your-mind-to-stop-worrying.html

3 TIPS TO CONQUER A WEEK; SCHEDULE FEWER TASKS

After too much of getting done in a week, there come our favorite days- the weekend, where we ultimately get some time to think, ‘may I need to incorporate change in my life?’

To begin with the “change” strategy, so this:
▪ Think, how does your changed life look like?
▪ Jot down, what creates a difference between your existing and your changes live look like?
▪ Get into the work, you need to do to practically love your changed visualization.

“change” here means, a small practical shift small, that does work on your part but the result of which doesn’t make an immediate shift in your life progress. These changes would certainly have an immense impact on your life in the bigger picture.

That’s why I only promote 3 small changes as a habit each week, which is a small period, and enjoy a satisfying period to process these in your system.

Why go for small changes not big?

People who schedule fewer tasks get more done.
https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/333169
If you try to do more, you would end up unfortunately with something like this:
– Hate the things that you used to enjoy.
– Miss out on quality time with the most important people in your life.
-Reduce the number of opportunities that may come your way.
-Suffer from stress-related health issues.
– Miss out on the little things in life.
– Not be able to take a break and catch your breath.

“Happiness is not a matter of intensity, but of balance, order, rhythm, and harmony.”

– Thomas Merton

So, what does it mean to have balance? Balance is about taking care of the different elements in your life; physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, social, and practical well-being. When your external and internal world would feel in alignment you would eventually feel calmer to take on anything that comes your way.

Here, are some self-development ideas that would certainly let you balance every area of your life initially at least for a week, and then your consistency and genuine approach would transform your life for the better this way.

3 Tips to conquer a week

1. SETTING MYSELF AHEAD OF TIME

Yeah, the preparation you got that right!
When I get off my bed in the morning the outline for the day is already ready on my desk and even lets me get out of bed ahead of time without wondering what to do next!

Think out the things that you want to get done in a week and you can make those things easy for yourself by setting and planning things ahead of time.

Suggestions for your productive week:
– Make step-by-step outlines of your work.
– Make things accessible to you earlier which you certainly need to get done for whatsoever you are up to.

Many people prefer to “go with the flow”, being flexible and spontaneous. Taking a planned, structured approach may feel uncomfortable or constraining. Encourage yourself to plan with these strategies.
– Create a Calendar
– Schedule the Fixed Events
– Find Your Best Time for Each Activity or Task
– Review the Course Syllabus
– Embrace Planning as a Process

2. STOPPED QUITTING

Unfortunately, when I get something done successfully. I get way more satisfied than I should be. As a consequence, I hamper myself moving ahead, I keep enjoying the safe place of progress over-optimistic kinda thing. And, I end up quitting, ‘the progress with a pace.’

Give a fresh start to effect your met goal a get going to bigger and better versions of what you achieved once. It separated the past from the future and creates some space for the present which you could determine as a fresh start.

People are more likely to take action towards a goal after temporal landmarks that represent new beginnings.

Suggestions for your productive week:
– Look for a special moment in a day and say, ” I am new from now!”
– Make a new season, a new week or a quarter of the year, or your birthday as a landmark to feel new, begin with something new.
– Self-reflect with now and then intervals to know when to start fresh.
– Stop yourself from reconnecting to the moment of achievement and think of how to hustle and thrive.

3. NIGHT TIME-STRETCHING

To relax my body and release the tension I do some stretching exercises just before I go to bed.
Stretching my neck, back, arms, shoulders, helps me relieve my body holds after a long day with writing, strategizing, researching, and much more. I put on relaxing music and a scented candle, to begin with, stretching.

I usually begin with a whole-body stretch by taking my arms up in the air stretching them all over the top coming down to touch the floor giving stretch to my legs and back. Followed by a downward dog, child pose, half cartwheel ending up with a plow pose.

Suggestions for your productive week:
– Nighttime silence and day-long stress build a natural aura to get into the nighttime stretching.
– As compared to the morning, practicing it at night feels easier and much awake to get into a stretching posture.
– By stretching and deep breathing, you would end up feeling in a meditation zone.
– Relax body gets into sleep much faster and provides a deep sleep.

In general, stretching can help: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/stretching-before-bed#10-stretches
– reduce body pain
– reduce stress and improve mood
– increase mobility and flexibility
– improve muscle health and performance
– reduce the risk of injury
– promote weight loss
– improve circulation

In the end, I would sum up by mentioning that you need not take enormous transformations to experience growth. Rather you just need to look at the next step and you will surely be on the right path.

START SMALL, START TODAY!

5 Effective Ways to Upgrade your Mindset for Success

Who doesn’t crave success? But, does everyone who craves, get. No!
They who get the taste of success are the one, who knows; where he wants to reach, what he is doing next, what is the source of knowledge, does smart work, and strategizes what he is good in.

UPGRADING MINDSET

Before we jump into the effective ways let’s know from the expert, how does upgraded mindset look like .

Achieving great success in life depends a lot on the mindset. How we think directly affects the outcomes we produce and not the other way around. It’s our thoughts that determine our decisions and actions. “Change your mindset, change your life” sounds fairly easy, yet many of us put limits on ourselves. https://www.lifehack.org/articles/communication/25-tricks-set-your-mindset-for-success.html

We all want to know the secret to success, but the reality is that there are so many factors that go into what makes one truly successful. But of course, there’s more to success than just keeping your nose to the grindstone. Maintaining a solid mindset can go a long way towards helping you stay on the path to success. https://www.forbes.com/sites/ashleystahl/2016/11/29/5-ways-to-boost-your-mindset-for-success/?sh=73ed286d6647

“The mind is just like a muscle – the more you exercise it, the stronger it gets and the more it can expand.” -Idowu Koyenikan

5 Effective Ways to Upgrade your Mindset for Success

1. SET UP A VISION

Visualization puts the imagination in play. Vision to an idea is a realistic approach you must give to your thought process to get your intention to work out practically.

Your vision is thinking of yourself pursuing what you wish to happen to you. The clarity of an idea appears when you begin being honest to yourself about your capabilities.

You can’t be honest enough to anyone then you can be honest to yourself. You can think big, believe immensely, imagine awfully but what’s going to work in the end is your vision.

2. FIND YOUR PRIORITY

You more often say ‘you don’t have time for some important stuff in your life. But, have you ever thought, where all your time goes if some of your important work remains unfinished.

Time goes where you invest it! Time flies because you invest it in a work, to which you are committed for an indefinite time. You don’t find time because you don’t look for it.

Fortunately, time doesn’t go anywhere instead you get the list in some unproductive, irrelevant, indefinite job. Putting your to-do list according to the most important job to the least would certainly make you find the time for what is valuable not what you desire.

3. INVEST YOURSELF IN THE WORLD’S SUCCESSFUL PHILOSOPHIES

Philosophies of the world’s successful people are the most convenient guidelines to work upon to reach out to your higher self of wisdom.

The best way of learning and pursuing wisdom is to be consistent. And, to be consistent you have to practice a mindset with the intent to improvise yourself.

It’s proven that learning from the teaching and experiences is the most effective way to discover your philosophy, realize your beliefs, and approach your higher self.

4. STRATEGIZE YOUR HABITS

Are you struggling to sit with your serenity and practice a productive habit? And, if you get that steadiness; are you struggling to find what to pursue? And if even you know what to pursue you find it tough to keep pursuing it on daily basis?

Habits are met better off if pursued with a follow-up. The beliefs go like a practice practiced continuously for 21 days become a habit.

The basic criteria of repetitive practice with continuous motion are to promote consistency in your mindset. Consistency becomes a habit by the repetitive practice of something we want to adopt as a habit.

5. DELIVER WHAT YOU PRACTICED A LOT

Molding yourself to get fit in someone else’s perfect criteria is not going to worm in the long run. To live an effortlessly productive, satisfying life you need to find what you are already good in.

If you have not read the book “Unfair Advantage”. I suggest you read it to find what works for you because the essence is your unfair advantage. As, your unfair advantage is your genuine nature, individuality.

What you practice a lot is something you could put out in the world against anything you teach yourself to do well. And, what you practice a lot is who you are. You live yourself, practice yourself most than anything else.

“The mind has a powerful way of attracting things that are in harmony with it, good and bad.”

– Idowu Koyenikan

ANSWER THIS #15 QUESTION

#15 question
How do you protect your feelings from being hurt?

Know! Your emotional accountability towards yourself.

“Until you know, how to feel; you would never know, how to deal.”

– Farheen Dhanjal

LEARN TO DEAL WITH EMOTIONS

We probably often look for a simple, useful definition of emotions. And, unfortunately, we don’t find it anywhere. The problem, in not getting the meaning of emotions is that every single time we don’t experience the emotions the same way.

Emotions are unpredictable yet the foundation of our institutions. It’s like feeling the situations happening to us. Emotions always direct you to move towards something or to move away from something. Emotions could either hamper you to take action or push you to look for a breakthrough. Emotions could only dominate you only if you let them. Learn to work out emotions for your good; acknowledge your feelings ▶learn, the benefit of the emotion you are experiencing ▶admit, how it affects you ▶take action to transform the worst, into better.

While emotions can have a helpful role in your daily life, they can take a toll on your emotional health and interpersonal relationships when they start to feel out of control. Vicki Botnick, a therapist in Tarzana, California, explains that any emotion — even elation, joy, or others you’d typically view as positive — can intensify to a point where it becomes difficult to control. https://www.healthline.com/health/how-to-control-your-emotions

ANSWER THIS #14 QUESTION

#14 question
Do you overrate or underrate what you have?

Know! The two ways you may envy others.

“Over rating, what you have could satisfy your insecurity. But, your peace of mind would remain disturbed forever just like if you underrated.”

– Farheen Dhanjal

HOW TO OVERCOME ENVY?

An effective way to be confident is to fight any envy that comes to you. To turn envy into appreciation is very important because envy is something that holds people back from getting what they seek from life by putting all the wrong vibrations and energies out there.

Instead of looking at someone with jealousy for what they have then appreciating someone and noticing what you can do to be there. Envy comes hand in hand with desire. By envying you bring the other person down whereas by feeling less for not having what they got you put yourself down. Both ways are incorrect. So, go for another path, appreciate and make things work out for you. This is the way to attract promising and get what you want.

“Envy is ignorance.”

–Ralph Waldo Emerson

Very few people would argue for the positive influence of jealousy & envy in our lives. In fact, most of us can quickly recognize the importance of learning how to stop being jealous. And we’re all aware of jealousy and envy’s effects:▪ They foster discontent and distress. ▪ They bind our freedom. ▪ They lead to resentment and bitterness. ▪ They cause us to do things we wouldn’t normally do. ▪ They can spiral into depression. https://www.becomingminimalist.com/ungreen-with-envy/

ANSWER THIS #13 QUESTION

#13 question
How do you react to the people, who you think hate you?

Know! How conscious you are of people, who may harm your serenity.

“You can’t destroy someone with the same poison they give you. You need to find their weakness, which may be a pinch of salt they are allergic to.”

– Farheen Dhanjal

WHAT TO CHOOSE – REVENGE OR FORGIVENESS?

Has anyone ever said to you that you are not good enough for the job, or you probably deserve less than you believe or are executive from yourself way more than your capabilities? When people harm you or do you wrong you have two choices; forgive them or you could seek revenge to reciprocate the harm they have caused you.

We all have been taught that forgiveness is the more sensible option to seek while dealing with toxic people. But, revenge could be sweet sometimes when giving back to them feels so satisfied for a while. If you always dedicate your pattern to react with “revenge” you would not be less than be a toxic person yourself then. Do you want to be like them?

Revenge is a powerful emotional trigger that mobilises people into action. “It’s this very pervasive experience in human lives, people from every society understand the idea of getting angry and wanting to hurt someone who has harmed you,” says evolutionary psychologist Michael McCullough, of the University of Miami, who has spent over a decade studying revenge and forgiveness. https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20170403-the-hidden-upsides-of-revenge

MAKE JOURNALING A HABIT, 5 Tips How To Start

Are you struggling to sit with your serenity and journal? And, if you get that steadiness; are you struggling to find what to write? And if even you know what to write you find it tough to pursue journaling on daily basis?

Fortunately, you are exactly where you need to be.

JOURNALING

Journaling has been popular for thousands of years, but gone are the ‘Dear Diary’ days of recording every little thing about our day – that’s what social media is for, right? Now, daily journals are sleek, to the point, and offer a wealth of benefits. Many of us feel the fear of the blank page. It might be that you don’t want to spoil those crisp white pages with a mistake, but it’s important to remember that no one else will be reading your work, so you can just let go and have some fun! https://www.highlifenorth.com/2021/01/23/how-to-start-mindfulness-journaling/

“Writing in a journal reminds you of your goals and of your learning in life. It offers a place where you can hold a deliberate, thoughtful conversation with yourself.”

-Robin Sharma

5 Tips to Make JOURNALING a Daily Habit

1. KEEP A JOURNAL IN AN OBVIOUS PLACE

Visualization works here well off. The kids you see our to-do list in the reach of our vision more we will be going to meet every aspect of the point we just are finishing off.

Place your journal at someplace where you approach now and then for some work, or near where you spend your precious morning and evening time.

Journaling is a therapy. It would be much more productive if practiced accordingly; with steadiness, searching for serenity, by incorporating it in your morning-evening regime and continuing it religiously.

2. KEEP A HABIT TRACKER

Consciously reaching out to the journal to jot down your thoughts and subsequently checking it off on your habit tracker would certainly make you reach out to your true inner self to work for the desired productiveness you are craving from a habit, from journaling.

3.JOURNAL ON YOUR PHONE

Journaling is not time-bound. Moreover, it’s best practice when you feel heavy in thoughts and emotions and you want to put them off your mind then and there.

You may carry your journal. But most of you don’t carry it mostly because it doesn’t feel comfortable to do journaling in your school or an office. But, by practicing journaling from anywhere makes it more of like a habit.

At times when you overflow with thoughts and emotions and you don’t feel like putting an effort in taking a journal, out picking a pen and writing. You can just open your notes type your feelings. This way you could even erase any bad memories from your system by consciously deleting your thoughts. It feels literally comfortable.

4. SET THE INTENT

You can practice a productive activity once and even more often, willingly. But, practice becomes a habit when you practice it with an unconscious belief rather than with genuine intent.

Regular practice of any activity inclines you towards its primary benefit for which you no longer push yourself to practice rather you feel like willingly pursuing because now it feels like a part of your upgraded version not only the part of your routine.

You can set an intention for a habit by building a connection with its privileges, its benefits. The more you practice it the more you would realize its benefits in reality.

5. WRITE SOMETHING CONNECTING YOUR HIGHER SELF

More or less journaling is all about looking into and after your mind-body-soul.
Journaling builds your connection with yourself.

You can only let journaling work for your connection with your higher self if you stay true to your feelings, your beliefs, your actions, your emotions yourself all and all.

You could journal properly by journaling honestly. Write something you feel the most, you get affected about the most, you expect to improvise the most, you crave to resolve the most.

Start from wherever you feel like letting out your thoughts and emotions. Either through morning pages, bullet journal, gratitude journal, or one line journal for five years. Start small, start today!

ANSWER THIS #12 QUESTION

#12 question
How long do you hold on to anger when you get disappointed?

Know! From whom do you except what and why?

“No one holds an obligation against your expectations. Fortunately, it releases you from many invalid expectations of others.”

– Farheen Dhanjal

LET GO OF EXPECTATIONS

The most selfish one-letter word is “I”. Because “I” actually means you are expecting all the time. You feel like; I should be treated like this, I should love like this, I should be dealt with like this!

Learn to maintain the balance of giving and take. The more we lead a life of “I “, we will always be frustrated. Because no one is obliged to meet our expectations. By expecting you are giving control of how do you feel to someone else. If you are always being a “taker” after a while no one would be wholeheartedly giving to you.

Expectations set up an attachment to specific outcomes, leaving little room for fresh possibilities. However, there are ways you can save yourself from the disappointments that arise from undue expectations. https://everydaypower.com/10-things-stop-expecting-others/

CONTENTS OF THE QUESTION

Each question would consist of 3 parts:
Part 1: QUESTION – It would determine the path of knowing you as an individual.

Part 2: KNOW – It would let you know what you learned about yourself.

Part 3: QUOTE – It would depict the righteous approach to the concept being asked in the question.

HOW TO PRACTICE THIS ACTIVITY?

You just have to reply to Part 1, and just read, learn and reflect on Part 2 and 3.

Grab a pen & paper and start writing your reply. Remember! Nothing is tough when it comes to doing it for yourself. And, you just need to be truthful to yourself.

Feel free to share.

Happy “soul-searching”
