It’s time for you to DECLUTTER.
You need to declutter anything or anyone which no longer serves you well, value your existence, treat yourself as an option. Remember, you are not the same that you were from the past, that you were at the last year, or as a matter of fact ‘what you were at the beginning of this year.’
Look back and see you have gone through incredible transformations, where you are much wiser, you are much more intuitive, you have enhanced your talents, your skills, your capabilities, your abilities, your willingness, willpower, courage, and whatnot.
Now, when you have acquired life experiences and wisdom. You just need to acknowledge and believe that you have outgrown the people and situations holding you back to actually move forward in your life.
Declutter, what’s that?
DECLUTTER means getting rid of people who just don’t fit in your life, people who are not on the same page as you.
And, that person could be anyone, your friend, relative, ex, love interest. You just need to draw boundaries who abuse you psychologically, toxifies your surroundings, disturb your mental peace.
You just don’t need to reply and do need to protect yourself. Promote self-care against anyone who is causing you any type of harm like:
▪ Stressing you out
▪. Talking down on you
▪ Gossip about you
▪ Very clear about messing up with your source of backing.
▪ Try to down you
▪ stick their nose in your business
▪ Messy people
▪ Envious, jealous friends
▪ Time washers
▪ Energy exhausters
▪ Emotion drainers
▪ Invalid approaches
▪ Intruders
▪ Controller
The Science Behind Decluttering
You know whom I’m talking about. Right?
As you know, exactly who’s up to these traits in your life, in your surrounding. You can tell who they are and get rid of them! Declutter. “Existing in a cluttered environment taxes our brains because the cluttering objects compete for our attention,” according to Dr. Scott Bea, a clinical psychologist. https://www.mibluesperspectives.com/2021/09/08/the-science-behind-decluttering/#:~:text=The%20science%20of%20decluttering%20shows,Scott%20Bea%2C%20a%20clinical%20psychologist.
Clutter isn’t just messy and disorganized, it can be bad for your physical and mental health. The science of decluttering shows it can improve focus, reduce anxiety and help deter procrastination.
But how?
Follow this…
5 Ways to DECLUTTER YOUR MIND, SOUL, AND LIFE
I. BUILD HEALTHY BOUNDARIES
You don’t necessarily have to go in their face and tell them that, ‘your existence makes my life difficult, your unpleasant approach makes me feel uncomfortable, and your toxic behavior destroys my mental peace.’ No! you don’t need to be that expressive.
Get for that classy way to be happy with your side not know to the other party. Strict the excess they have to you.
Don’t enter the new year with the same old, toxic souls and energies in your life.
II. SELF-REFLECT
Know! It’s not about them only, you as well need to shed all the toxic habits, unhealthy approaches, unconscious ways of living.
No one is perfect. The thing is we all need to self-reflect to reach near-perfection of our versions.
It’s time to call upon yourself by self-reflecting and knowing what you need to do differently. Moreover, consciously.
If a person is kinda succeeding in making you feel small, mad, frustrated, disturb the hell out of you. You need to self-reflect where do you lack beyond setting boundaries? What is your contribution to your dissatisfaction with your constant willingness to set boundaries?
People would continue taking advantage of you until you put your foot down and come out with a different, new, and better approach, making them know; hey! I’m not comfortable messing with what you serve me.
III. BE A PRIVATE PERSON
If you are the kind of person whom people converse about your life, and make you feel intimidated? That means you are been a lot of publicizing your personal stuff.
Either, you are way more talkative about your personal life, or you are involved with someone, happy being publicized with their private stuff. You need to shut the source down from getting your stuff publicized.
No genuine person would be comfortable to let everything about them or their relationship failures, career hassles, emotional downfalls have known to the third party and at times the second party even.
Stop keeping big mouths or such people near to you. Acknowledge that you are always in your business with the wrong one.
IV. PREPARE FOR THE NEW
To prepare for the new year you need to be prepared for the new things and people. As your willingness to change is all set to attract something wonderful in the coming year.
To be prepared for the new, you need to prove yourself, that you are ready to deal with the new. You need to let the energies be sure about your calling upon them.
If you are still stuck in past, configure out what happens. Who did something wrong to you? Why do they do it to you?
If you are consciously or even unconsciously investing yourself in past it becomes evident to the universe that you are not yet ready to invite something new.
You can’t be stuck in the past and at the same time tell yourself that you need something new. You are contradicting yourself like this.
You need to release the old to make space to be occupied by the new. You need to show to yourself and the energies out there that you are ready for something new by putting an end to the old, to the things in your past.
Your preparation would reflect your confidence to deal with something you are assenting to have in your life.
V. SEE, FOR WHAT THEY ARE
Accept the truth and act accordingly. Stop waiting, acting stagnatingly. Many times we tend to give the benefit of doubt to many people. But people know what they are doing, how they make you feel, they know how they deal with you, how they disappoint you.
See people, for who they are. See-through their implied ways of expressing what you literally mean to them.
Stop manipulating yourself by interpreting what they do to you in something better sense. Again, you are falsely optimistic.
You literally need no longer wait for anything to work out, anyone to treat you right, any job opportunity to knock on your doorstep.
It’s time to assure yourself that something new is willing to treat you better, make you feel fulfilled, letting you know that you are meant for a new profession stream.
BE PREPARED. DECLUTTER!
