“A situation does not attract any misfortune of life. It’s the way you perceive the solution does.” And, this is where “soul-searching” backs you with.
ANSWER THIS #32 QUESTION
#32 question
When have you felt guilty about being angry at someone?
Know! The repercussions of the awful expression of your emotions.
“Your anger harms you more than it hurts, whom you are being angry upon.”
-Farheen Dhanjal
Is There Such a Thing as Healthy Anger?
Anger is a natural human emotion. But, it doesn’t have to be damaging or abusive. In fact, anger used constructively can be critical to building the kind of world we want to live in. As, Dr. Maya Angelou said, “Use that anger. You write it. You paint it. You dance it. You march it. You vote for it. You do everything about it.”
3 Steps to channel ANGER into a FORCE for GOOD:
-FEEL IT (Take a really deep breath and see if you can feel that energy somewhere in your body. Just like you know how excitement can sometimes feel like butterflies in your belly.)
– QUESTION IT (Get curious and ask yourself; what exactly do you feel angry about?, What do you feel is wrong right now?, And, more importantly, why?)
– TRANSFORM IT (It’s about answering; What do you think should happen instead?, What positive action that you might want to take to help yourself?, Is there something that you might want to share with others?)
Anger in itself is not negative. “We are allowed to express anger because it is a natural emotion,” says Talkspace therapist Reshawna Chapple, PhD, LCSW. Rather, it’s how we respond to feelings of anger that make it healthy or unhealthy. Chapple says anger will become uncontrollable and toxic if we keep it bottled inside. https://www.talkspace.com/blog/healthy-anger-what-is-definition-guide/
CONTENTS OF THE QUESTION
Each question would consist of 3 parts:
Part 1: QUESTION – It would determine the path of knowing you as an individual.
Part 2: KNOW – It would let you know what you learned about yourself.
Part 3: QUOTE – It would depict the righteous approach to the concept being asked in the question.
HOW TO PRACTICE THIS ACTIVITY?
You just have to reply to Part 1, and just read, learn and reflect on Part 2 and 3.
Grab a pen & paper and start writing your reply. Remember! Nothing is tough when it comes to doing it for yourself. And, you just need to be truthful to yourself.
Feel free to share.
